The conference will be held in the Palace of University of Beograd Rectorate in partnership with the Ben Gurion University of Negev Republic of Israel, the Sephardic Studies Society, the Center for Sabbatean Sephardic Studies, Center for the Studies of Jewish Art and History, Center for Visual Culture in Balkans.
The Project member Dr. Benedetto Ligorio, Ph.D., Post-doc and adjunct professor of Early Modern History will present one of his research entitled “at the device of the Citizens and Common Good. The Jewish Consouls of the Republic of Ragusa in Algeri, Genoa and Vlöre”.
Republic neutrality in front of difference of religions in the best Republic of Dubrovnik (Ragusa) Interest in 3 different contexts on perspective of global history and social and economic history: Vlöre in the Ottoman Empire, and Genoa in the Republic of Genova, Algeri in the Berbereschi States.
